February 20.

The last few days he's been more tired. He's been doing most of his rehab stuff. He still has numbness on the right side. He's been walking and is generally still doing well.

February 9. Day 32.

Did follow up visit with rehab doctor. Progress is going well. Had follow up CT scan Friday. Can't really see anything. Going to see neurosurgeon today. Went to all of church yesterday. Was able to write an email to Jesse.  Focusing this week on rehab. Music benefit concert is all planned for the 28^th. Very grateful for all who have supported me and my family. -Grant

February 3. Day 26.

Today he went up and down the stairs. Progress!

February 2. Day 25.

He continues to walk each day and do some stretches, etc. He says that often his brain is telling, say, his right arm to do something but the movements are stiff. He's been showering, dressing and cleaning teeth by himself. He's also been reading.

January 29. Day 21.

Nothing new to report.

January 28. Day 20.

He went to the sleep doctor today. He had positive responses to (meaning he has) obstructive sleep apnea and central sleep apnea. The doctor told him his brain was bulging out of where it was supposed to be, before his surgery. He has a cat scan follow up with the neurosurgeon in a couple weeks and a sleep follow up in 3 months. Blood work all looks fine other than one blood glucose that looks high, but they told him if he loses weight it will go away.

January 27. Day 19.

From my dad: Again he walked 1.3 miles with Kate. He threw up this morning. He didn't take his pills because he felt sick. He did computer exercises for memory. His dizziness isn't getting better, he says. He wrote in his journal and said his handwriting looks like he's five or six. Jenna told him his scar is looking better but Kate won't look at it.

January 26. Day 18.

He walked almost 3000 steps today.

January 25. Day 17.

Not much happened today. Just resting.

January 24. Day 16.

Today my dad walked twice. Once with my mom and then later with Jared. He did some stretches with Jenna. He also played the piano. He can still do it! And just as well as he always has. He also went to the the Stake Conference adult meeting tonight with Jared, Lani and my mom.
